Hlo sir. My baby is 18 months old. he is suffering from fever and loose foul smelly stools. i have given him 5ml calpol and 5 ml of darolac syrup. kindly guide me about the next dosage of medicine. Time gap between the two dosages. Thanks

Hello, As your child is suffering from acute gastroenteritis. Give syp Calpol SOS for fever, the dose will depend on the weight of the child. Syp Darolac 5 ml can be given twice daily. Drop Z n D 1ml once daily for 14 days.

Get stool routine microscopy done.

If baby is lethargic, has poor oral acceptance. Immediately visit a pediatrician for clinical evaluation and workup.
