Dry cough and body ache

Asked for Male, 29 Years

Hi, My husband is having dry cough since almost a month now. Plus he has body pain and since few days has fever at night of around 101.3 He has also lost weight of around 6 kgs this month. We have done a chest x ray and cbc which is normal. Symptoms on google show cancer . Can u suggest what check up should we do any recommendations?

Before coming to the grave diagnosis of cancer let me help you by answering your question. Even in longstanding infections one loses weight. Lacking the information about smoking history &a some other reports like ESR, I would like to suggest you to get evaluated for tuberculosis first. Early morning sputum samples would be helpful.
