Dry/burning eyes inspite of medications
I had gone to a doctor 2-3 weeks ago and I was told that I have digital eye strain for which I was given Zoxan D and refresh tears. I had some other problems after that due to which I neglected eyes and started the course 3 days ago. But I have been putting refresh tears since 3 weeks. Inspite of all these, I am still have dryness, irritation, etc. Should I wait for 7 more days for Zoxan-D course to complete or should I go to the doctor immediately?

You are probably a regular computer user if so then the dry eye is the result of computer vision syndrome. The management of this is twofold 1..preventive..  2..medicine And You will have to follow both simultaneously 1..for prevention .please follow 20.20.formula ie close your eyes for 20 seconds after every 20 minutes amd keep the mo itor at20 inches from the eyes.never sit facing the Ac or blower, wash your eyes with fresh water after every 1 hr,take a break for 5to10 mts after every 2 hrs os earlier, during break try to see the greenary, can use blu cut or antiglare glasses and consume lot of fresh fruits and vegetables. 2..as far as the medicine is concerned, you are advised to use only lubricant eye drops, can increase the frequency as per need and rub ocupol dx eye oint twice daily on lids. I will not recommend regular use of steroid drops.
