My 9 year gsd drink more water and doing more toilet after infection on scrotum, give only single tablet cefpet no other medicine use ( no injection) is this normal or not and this condition start after infection

Kindly explain in detail, is ur gsd male or female... any discoloration in urine, becoz sometimes in unneutuered female dogs and not mated in old age, may get pyometra that time also this kind of things happen...
Other than that due to hot climate also they may drink more water..
