Doubt about Vaccine date
My daughter annmary(1yr 10mon) next vaccination (typhoid vaccine) as per vaccination record is June (ie is 2 yrs). From the birth itself (5/6/16) we ate consulting doctor in Renai hospital and vaccinations are being taken from there. The last vaccine for hep A2 (18 mon) was taken on 31/1/18. Doctor wrote in the hospital immunization record book as the next vaccine ( typhoid vaccine) to be taken on April month. But in record book it is printed as vaccine to be taken at the age of 2yr.

Nowadays, typhoid vaccine is available in 2 forms, conjugate vaccine and polysaccharide vaccine. The schedule is typhoid conjugate vaccine at 9-12 months of age, followed by polysaccharide one at 2 years. As your child is almost 2,wait for second birthday and give CONJUGATE vaccine. Repeat typhoid vaccination is given after 5th birthday, which should be polysaccharide one.
