I have bitten by a stray dog today morning...now there is swelling, redness and pain but not scratch or bleeding...I have shown it to general clinic but they are saying no need for rabies or tetanus vaccination. so I was thinking to get second opinion as it is still not 24 hours after bite

U should take rabies vaccine .don't take risk.take first dose immediately.
Dose 0,3,7,14,28 days from day of bite.
If possible try to buy observe that dog for ten days for any change in his behavior. If he has change in behavior he may be having Rabies.
