Does G6pd cancel the HBa1c Test ?
Hi age 31, Bodyfat 13%, Blood fasting glycose 106 , A1C 5,2% , A1 6.1% , Oral Glucose Tolerance Test: 60min 160mg/dl(range 110-170) 120min 118mg/dl(range 70-120) i have lack of g6pd at which degree i dont know,but my mother was told to stay away from fava beans and nafthalin when i was born.My question is am i prediabetic? is the A1 test valid ?
