Do i need to rule out hyperthyroidism
Hello docs..i have history of IDA, recently i was facing tachycardia (100-130), palpitations. i got my hb checked and also thyroid profile..hb was 6gm/dl and then TSH and T3 levels were normal but T4 levels wer elevated, then i checked free T4 levels which wer 2.56 normal ranges ( upto 1.76), I've taken norethisterone 5mg to postpone my periods last month for five days, do they effect the t4 levels? TSH is normal although t4 levels are high... I have no weight gain or loss,no mentsrual irregularities,no loss of appetite or increased appetite..kindly suggest
