Do Antibiotics interfere with drug test
I took cefixime -200mg, beflex forte, dolo 650 mg and pain killer for body pain this morning and yesterday night. I had drug test (dope test at office) after 2 hours of taking these medicines. So my question is will these tablets interfere with the drug test report. Please answer

Antibiotics like Cefixime, vitamin supplements like Beplex Forte, and NSAIDs generally do not interfere with standard drug tests, which are designed to detect specific controlled substances or their metabolites. If pain killer was an NSAID there might be some interference in test results. There have been occasional reports of false positives in some immunoassay screenings, particularly for marijuana or barbiturates. However, these false positives are usually resolved with confirmatory testing using more specific methods like GC-MS or HPLC
