Diarrhea and bloating

I ate street food two days back...since then i m suffering diarrhea.i tried taking antibiotics and other tablets such as idomine and metrogyll400 but nothing is working.can u please suggest any medicine.

The most common cause of these complaints is infection of stomach due to amoebiasis and which needs to treated with drugs like Metrogyl 400mg three times a day for five days. If the stools are watery in nature then it may be due to viral infection. You may need some antibiotic as well. But in the mean time you should take plenty of fluids and light diet. It will be better if you can consult your family physician for better understanding of the disease and treatment.
