Diarrhea after giving regular formula
Respected doctors,my son is 10 months old.we give him solid food as rice and little veggies..he suffers every second or third day from semi solid amd loose stools 4 times a day..we used to give him normal regular formula once or twice a day as breastmilk is insufficient after trying many products for increasing milk since his 3 months of age ,but it seems his regular milk is not digestible by him and passes total loose motion..can i give him similac isomil or similac total comfort once or twice a day for a month or more..we have showed to local paeditrician..the medicines prescribed works only if we dont give him milk..but its not possible for a small baby to keep away from milk ..suggestions are highly appreciable.

Greetings infant experience frequent loose stools that seem to worsen when consuming regular formula, which could indicate a sensitivity or intolerance to specific milk proteins or lactose. While Similac Isomil is a soy-based option and Similac Total Comfort uses partially hydrolyzed proteins for easier digestion, switching formulas should only be done under the direct supervision of your pediatrician.
