Diagnostic Tests for LADA(Type 1.5 Diab)
My father aged 51 is suffering from High Blood Sugar since last 2-3 years.
He tried several medications for Type 2 Diabetes like Glycomet Trio, Pioz 30 etc. but Blood Sugar PP always remain 180+
So, I seriously think he may be suffering from LADA.(No Insulin Yet)
1. Low BMI since birth and always a thin, active guy,and NEVER had belly fat.
2. Insulin PP Came out to normal-34.7(Expected High in Type 2).
3. C Pep and Insulin Fasting also came to be normal near the lower range, 1.66 and 3.62 resp.
So please advise and if my doubt is right, please advise confirmatory Diagnostics tests for LADA.
