I have been using glycomate3/850 mg as suggested by my doctor.He suggested this drug inorder to reduce my weight and to control the glucose levels.
He asked me to continue this tablets for 1 month,but I was continuing since 3 months.is there any risk of using this tablets for longer duration.

Yes. It contains glimeperide which can cause hypoglycemia and also lead to OHA failure. U should consult a diabetologist with latest reports and reduce the dose of glimeperide if sugar levels are normal.
Also one should try to keep dose of glimeperide to minimum and use better alternatives like full dose of Metformin DPP4Is and SGLT2Is
