Diabetic patient, 69 years male has huge swelling at feet. Creatinine uria urine ARC sgpt tests are normal. Doctor adviced to do echocardiogram test. Could you please tell me is the report normal? I have attached the echocardiogram report here. Thank you.

Echo says diastolic dysfunction and ef is in normal range. It could be Heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) which is often seen in diabetics. A detailed history with change in meds will sort this out.

hi noted labs, Echo shows : grade 1 diastolic dysfunction, Leg swelling may be there with early heart failure But also need to look on Thyroid status, ? Varicocity, DVt.. brtter see physician.. let them rule out above conditions
