Hi,
My dad was diagnosed with Diabetes 2, two months back. He had 425 as sugar level... Now with medicines it has come down to 225 this month. He is having pain, irritation in his right thigh. He also has disturbed sleep at night... Is this because of higher sugar levels? Will these problems reduce once the sugar gets controlled, or do we have to do some other tests?

There can be several reasons including uncontrolled blood sugar and myalgia parasthetica. Thee first priority should be to control sugars well. If it doesn't get relieved after that then specific medicines need to be started
