Is this the first BP reading ever taken?
Systolic BP is normal diastolic BP is elevated. In any anxiety or stress situation it is not advisable to start any medications. Once food poisoning is treated, we will monitor your blood pressure and then after assessment shall decide on starting on medication if any.
