Dexona sreroids in pregnancy
My wife js 33 weeks pregnant with diabetes. Scar thickness is 3.54 mm. Gynae has prescribed dexona steroids 8mg for 3 days. Do she really need steroids and is it safe in pregnancy. Till how many weeks can we wait for c section delivery.

Steroid is given for lung maturity of the baby if the doctor is looking at a Preterm delivery steroids in a patient with diabetic can derange sugar levels S car thickness as early mentioned yesterday Does not determine  the urgency to undergo a cesarean section as ultrasound is a poor predictor of the scar thickness Was a transvaginal scan   done  to check it You should wait till minimum 37 completed weeks till the patient has scar tenderness
