Sensitivity to hot and cold can be due to different causes. Could be a cavity or root exposure due to gum recession. You must get it treated for permanent relief. Temporarily you can use a sensitivity toothpaste like sensodyne rapid relief and take a painkiller like dolo 650 or Combiflam .
