Doctor suggested RCT. Please tell me what to do. Is it a painful procedure and how much time it will take to process (RCT). Please suggest. Please tell after RCT this bulge will remove. Can we postpone it for some time ? Thankyou.

Kindly share the X-ray..root canal is basic procedure for painful teeth Dnt need to worry about it ,it requires two sitting of half hour each . Any procedure performed with antibiotics coverage is good ,all infection will go slowly and everything will be normal in a week .

Hi mam please don't postpone the Rct or Pulpectomy. The procedure won't be painful. If your child cooperates then the procedure will be completed in 20- 30 minutes. The bulge will reduce 100%

No, it is not a painful process. Doctor may give local anesthesia (if required). Time/Duration mostly depends on the co operation of patient/child. Normally it is 40-45 minutes procedure. Yes, Pulpectomy/RCT will treat the dental abscess (bulge).

Go by the opinion of the dentist. RCT now a days is not painful under the influence of the aneasthesia. However, kids are usually more anxious and scared to receive any dental treatment. If the bulge you are talking about is due the tooth infection (Usually filled with pus), it should resolve after RCT. Better share a picture of the bulge

Hi, Do not postpone the treatment. The procedure will be done under Local anesthesia. The only discomfort your daughter will have is while injecting the anesthesia. The Root canal procedure will not hurt her. Followed by the procedure, complete the medication as prescribed.
