Hi
Fever is due to severe dental infection only...and that teeth might require root canal treatment...
Don't ignore and visit dentist as soon as possible for further procedure

Medication is only temporary relief...Don't take it for prolonged time
Hi there! Symptoms like fever and pain are responses/ warning signal given by our body at times of infection. Dental infection is sometimes accompanied by fever in children. Please continue the antibiotic and painkiller given by the doctor for 3 days. Dental treatment will not be proceeded unless the fever goes away. It's challenging for kids to co-operate to dental treatment at time of fever and cold. But please visit your dentist and get to know what's causing his dental pain.
Out tooth has three layers. Pain starts only when the decay reaches the inner most nerve layer. This decay process will be much faster in kids, especially in milk tooth. The incidence of decay is also more. Please examine you kid at periodic intervals to check for small black dot/ decay. If you notice one, please don't wait for it to get bigger, get a simple filling done at once. And try reducing sticky and sugary foods like biscuits and chocolate especially during night times. Practice night brushing as a family. It will do wonders. I hope this helps.
Hello ... fever can be sometimes associated with dental infection. Does he have any other symptoms like cough and coldPlz take your son to dentist for evaluation. If there is active dental infection it needs to be treated. Thanx
