Hello as wisdom teeth 95%cases goes for removal because there is no space to come in jaw you develop pain and swelling difficulty in chewing and jaw opening. Better get removed early possible because if wait too ultimate treatment would be removal.
Wisdom teeth or 3rd molars are seen in the mouth after full growth of the jaw bone which is at or after 17 yrs or above . If the space available for eruption of the teeth is not there suitable measures to prevent infection and pain will be nessacary. This may include even extraction of the teeth. Pls get a full mouth Xray to validate present condition
Hello mam,
An impacted tooth is one which fails to erupt at the given time and space.
Impacted tooth may cause inflammation around the gums of the tooth, dental caries also in neighbouring tooth, difficulty in chewing, crowding by pushing the neighbouring tooth, soarness of jaw.
Treatment will be extraction of the tooth at the earliest if more complications arise procedure will become difficult and also healing time will be long.
Don't worry in some people wisdom tooth having delayed eruption. After iopa x ray of tooth, it will be confirm that extraction of tooth is necessary or not. Visit to dentist which near by.
Next Steps
