Delay in vertebrae fusion
Sir I had gone for spine fusion surgery at L5 S1 on 30/01/25 . After passing over 10 months there is no sign of fusion present in x rays. Just after surgery went for dexa scan where osteopania detected T score -2.0 , z score -1.8 .Taking osteophos 70 weekly from the same day and other supplements but fusion not showing till now . I have a lot of difficulty in standing sitting or walking more than 10 minutes. I am 46 years  aged male with 75 kg weight and 5 feet 6 inches height.please help . My surgeon advised for endocrine opinion.

Delayed or non union is a common complication after the fusion.It can be treated with revision surgery.You can consult a second spine surgeon for his opinion
