Delay in periods
I'm using the flo app to track the period dates. This time it's delayed by 16 days. I did a pregnancy test last weekend it was negative. What should I do now

U can repeat the urine pregnancy test with early morning sample preferably Stress/ food habits/ weight changes/ lifestyle changes Can lead to delay in periods

You may do a urine pregnancy test again. If negative you should consult a Gynaecologist for treatment for withdrawal bleeding. After that you should keep a record of your period cycles for three months. If there is irregularity and you are trying to conceive then a long term treatment will be required.

If your periods are regular and  sexually active with anxious to conceive ,this week check again serum and urine Beta HCG. If still negative pls consult or if symptomatic .

The most common reason for delayed periods is a pregnancy. You can easily do a blood test to confirm this. Urine test is leas accurate. There are multiple other reasons for delayed periods. So maintain the menstrual calendar and seek consultation if it happens repeatedly.
