Delay in periods
Hi doc, A frd of mine had unprotected sex with her bf on 17dec n took ipill on 20dec. Her periods ended on 7dec. She bleeded for 2-3days from 24dec to 27dec. She waited till 15jan for her periods. Then on 16jan she visited a gynacologist and took blood test and blood test were negative. Doc prescribed her deviry 10mg x3 for 5days to get periods. Qs- Was the blood test taken very early to detect pregnancy? Is there any chance that she can become pregnant after the test? The prescribed medicines, is it a correct treatment? Is she out of that phase where can she can conceive from what happened on 17dec? What should we do to get her periods. She's too young for this pregnancy. 22yrs old

The blood test was done at the right time... And deviry is given rightly.. She will have to wait for 7 to 10 days after the tablet to get her periods. Since blood test was negative no chances of being pregnant during that act ...
