Have to find the cause of DCM. As LVPW thickness is preserved, will advise you to go for coronary angiography. Without evaluation and treatment her condition can deteriorates badly.

It depends upon clinical history
If patient have any dyspnea at rest or history of chest pain then needs hospitalizations and further evaluation.
If heart size is enlarged in echo then probably it is of some duration and no immediately but yes further evaluation is needed.
Hello,
DCM with severe LV dysfunction needs urgent evaluation. We need to evaluate her for reversible causes of cardiomyopathy like viral infections, stress cardiomyopathy, thyroid diseases, tachycardia, blockages in heart arteries etc. I need to see her ECG and need more clinical details as well as medicines she is taking so that I can give her a detailed prescription for this condition
