Day 5 after medical abortion
Hi , I undergone medical abortion. Doctor  gave antibiotics( Taxime)  to use from day 2 onwards to use for 5 days. However i could not take comp lete course( I forgot ) and had tablets only for 2 days. Today is day 5 after misoprostol. Bleeding and all almost subsided. Little bit of cramping is still there like period pain. I am having 99 fever since morning and chills. I am scared is it due to any infection developed in uterus.  I dont have any other symptoms. Went to gynec doctor for checkup. She said  it is not due that infection. She said cramping also go away in few days. She  told me to use dolo 650 for fever and continue remaing antibiotic tablets. And said fever could be due to some viral or seasonal changes. She told me to meet general physician if fever continues. Are these any serious symptoms? I am getting tension.

Your symptoms don't sound anything otherwise than what your doctor has suggested. You can get tested for COVID if your sense of smell seems reduced.

Nothing to worry about!  Fever is likely due to flu and your doctor is right. Just follow your Doctor's advice.
