It can be mostly traumatic bite or can be an ulcer. For ulcer u have to apply oral gel as prescribed by your doctor . Fo traumatic bite you will have to wait , observe and get ur bite corrected. You can also consult through this for treatment and medications.

It looks like a blood clot in the lip. (Purpura- more dark violet in colour, in your photo). It should vanish on its own.
