Cylindrical on right eye
My son who is thirteen years old has 0.50cylindrical on his right eye. His left eye is normal. can we avoid it without using a spectacles??

See for cylinders the problem is if not corrected the child try to squeeze his eyes to see clearly which in turn tends to increase cylinder so my advice is to wear and still if u dont want just observe ur kid for this eye sueezing habits to see distant things clearly.

If the vision in affected eye is weaker than 6/9 then yes .he must use glasses.
