CT thorax report
Hi, I catch cold and cough every month. And experience difficulty in breathing if I talk for 30 minutes continuously or climb the stairs or after a 10 minute walk. Done a CT thorax as per local pulmonologist advice. He said nothing much to worry.
Please advise.
The CT report impressions were as follows:
* Focal subpleural fibrotic opacities in the medial segment of right lung middle lobe.
* No significant mediastinal lymphadenopathy.
* Minimal bilateral pleural effusion.

There is a lot of discrepancy between your symptoms and CT report. Needs to be evaluated. Consult.

Grossly, the CT looks fine but you have some problematic symptoms which have to be evaluated further based on detailed history and some other investigations. Repeated infections can further deteriorate your health. Kindly consult.
