Can pcos /pcod be shown on an ct scan ???
My doctor did ct scan to rule out issue of my weight loss ...i have history of pcod ..but ct scsn is norml
Shall i undergo USG ?
My doctor didnt advice me for that ..shall i ask him to do my usg

PCOD can be diagnosed very easily by USG. Normally PCOD is associated with obesity but lean cases are also seen. So proper investigations are must before definite diagnosis.

Hi,all kinds of problems should have been diagnosed in CT scan. PCOS doesn't cause weight loss per se. There must be some other reason for it. Please discuss with your doctor again
