Covid vaccine while pregnant
Hi, I am 25 weeks pregnant and wants to get vaccinated. I have a go ahead from my gynaec as well for vaccination. But there are other friends of mine who also are pregnant and their gynaec have asked to avoid them for now. I am a bit confused on what to do. Any advice would be appreciated.

Vaccine tests have not yet been conducted on the covid vaccines. But since you are in your second trimester and almost nearing the 3rd trimester (28 weeks onwards) much of your baby's organs have developed by now. You need to consult your gynaecologist or any other physician because it all depends on the present condition of the fetus versus the likelihoodness of you contracting covid infection
