My mother got discharged March end after covid treatment. She was given remdesivar and other anti viral medicines in hospital. She is totally fine. She is taking 1 blood thinner and diabetes tablet currently. Please let me know when can she taken her first corona vaccine dose? Is there a timeline to wait to take vaccine after completion of covid treatment ?

Diabetes is not contraindications. Most of the common blood thinners like Ecosprin is not a contraindications. But for others PT INR  should be tested. She need to defer vaccination 4 to 8 week after recovery from COVID as per current evidence Please feel free to consult me using the app for further assistance
