Covid vaccination
Hello doc, 2 months back am diagnosed with type 2 diabetes my hba1c is 6.9 and my recent fbs is 138 and ppbs is below 200. And am till now not using any diabetic medication but engaged in physical activity. Am I eligible to take covid vaccination which is covaxin???
Or should I start medication before proceeding to vaccination??? Please help

You can go ahead with covaxine. Your Hba1c or 3 month average remains less than 7. Therefore you may continue exercise and healthy diet and recheck fasting, PP sugar and Hba1c in 3 months
