Covid symptoms in child

Asked for Male, 8 Years

My husband is tested covid positive. Today is his 8th day of having symptoms. Since this morning my son 8 years has also developed mild fever 37.4 and headache. I have given him crocin. Please advise further steps.

Possibility of your son also having the same disease is high. Don’t worry and nothing to panic. In children treatment recommended is only symptomatic, they don’t require any antiviral drugs usually. Keep your son well hydrated and nourished. Wear mask and do frequent hand washing.
