Covid Preventive medication for kids
I heard most of my friends are giving their kids a dose of Zincovit Syrup. I am not sure whether to do the same or not. My Son is 9 Yrs and 31 kgs. Will Zincovit help build immunity? If yes, what should be the dosage? Please help.

Covid prevention cannt be done by supplements... kindly follow rules for yourself...you prevented your baby will be prevented no medicine can prevent it .... be strict to everyone around you ..that’s all you can do

If your child is not deficit in vitc,zinc and other multivitamins then no need to give these. You can give for short period after consulting pediatrician.

Hi, I am dr. Sreepriya here. Paediatrician. Regarding Zyncovit, it is a multivitamin syrup contain zync. There is no need to give regular Zyncovit for children. Your child's weight seems OK. As long as he is taking good balanced diet including fruits, vegetables, milk, there is no need to supplement  with vitamin syrup

Vitamin D, vitamin c and zinc may be helpful in Covid, though we are not completely sure of this. Since there is no harm, giving this is alright.
