My father got tested Covid Positive with CT scan score 5/25 . He is having suger and he got CABG heart surgery 10 years back . Please let me know weather he can go for remdesivir injection or not.

Get your father admitted in hospital. He is comorbid and old.

remdesivir is not given in home isolation. it is OFF label drug.it is given under strict supervision as it itself have side effects and continous monitoring is required.

Ct score is mild only..but treatment is based on patients symptoms..Remdesvir injection will be given only in hospital if it is really required for patient. So follow according to his treating doctor advice .
