Hello Doctors,
As doctors and experts are expecting a possible third wave hitting kids harder, Covaxin clinical trials are starting from age groups 2-18. I watched a video which showed that the trails are starting from age group of 6 months itself. Starting from which age group the trails are actually starting?
I have a 15 months old kid and I'm really anxious of what experts are predicting of the third wave. Your valuable guidance, inputs in this regard is highly appreciated 🙏

Kindly keep doing what you have already been doing till now. Wash hands, keep social distancing and don't expose your kids to people with H/o travel and that's it.
If and when 3rd wave will hit we don't know exactly what to expect but rest assured Till now kids haven't been seriously ill in large numbers so I don't think it's going to be a huge change.
Keep your toddlers inside the house as much as possible.

Currently covaxin is running phase2/3 trials from 2-18years old, the trials are different in different age groups depending on the vaccine. So once the trials are successfully completed vaccines would be out for kids.
All precautions followed strictly would help in preventing the infection.
Next Steps
