Cough with phlegm
4yeard old baby have cough and phlegm in throat for past 1 week, but he is active cough to not continuously coming, right now we giving moxikind and tixylix. Also some kashayam with tulsi and betel,karpuravali. Last year also same problem came on that time we gave monticap but not given this time.But still he is coughing with phlegm thrice or four times in a day. Please suggest can we continue the same or some other medicine or can we give monticop.

If your baby doesn't have fever, but having cough for 1 week might be allergic. You can use the symptomatic treatment not more than 3 days. Better consult the pediatrician and need to find out the exact cause of cough like Allergic/ Reactive/ Infective and has to be treated rationally.
