Cough from 10 days
My son is having cough from 10 days. Initially he had an increase in temperature which subsided on cold compress in few hours. As per Doctor prescription, he was on Antibiotic Augmentin DDS, Ventiphyline PD and Flucold initially for a week. After that Doctor prescribed Mucolyte, Kofrest and MTNL kids syrup and Nebulization. But we took a second opinion yesterday with another Doctor and got prescribed for Ivaril cough syrup 2.5ml TID, Azithral xl 100 oral 7.5ml OD, MTNL kids syrup 5ml OD. After taking Azithral, by evening, kid had increase in temperature and increased cough. Currently, given Paracetamol twice in 12 hours. Is the increase in temperature due to Azithral or any other underlying cause?
