Costovertebral dysfunction
I am an athlete and I had a fall during a martial arts bout ... Immediately after 15 mins I had immense pain in my thoracic area and I could not move or turn ... There was some swelling in the thoracic area .. I was not able to lift my arms and take off my shirt also and could not sleep side ways . its almost a year now and I still feel pain while breathing in. I was a stupid then not to consult a doctor thinking it would go off but its not getting any better. So help me out on what to do .

You must consult an orthopaedician and also get your chest x-ray and thoracic spine x-ray done... Rest treatment will be based upon your diagnosis.. Meanwhile you can use icepack over painful area for 10min twice a day.... And avoid lying on your painful side
