I have been experiencing mild chest pain for several weeks now. The pain has not really been worsening, and usually I don't even notice it. Supposing that I am suffering from costochondritis, I was wondering what would happen if I simply ignored the pain. I realize that the only way to treat this condition would be to take a break from strenuous exercise, but, frankly, I don't want to do that. In other words, if I keep exercising/lifting weights, what will happen (assuming it is costo)?
