Cortical blindness treat
Are there any treatment available for cortical blindness or b/L toxic optic neuropathy due to ethabutol.

So far I know there no treatment for toxic amblyopia (ethanol toxicity),in initial stage there may be some improvement with the help of high dose of B12& corticosteroid in form of injection.

Hello I am sorry but there is not much options for cortical blindness. If it is due to hemorrhage in brain then there are chances of spontaneous recovery In ethambutol toxicity... A. Stop ethambutol B. Again there is no specific medicine..But multivitamins can be tried I hope this will help you Regards
