Hello Doctor
2 adult members in family tested positive and are isolated in separate room. Other members in family and 2 kids ( 6 years and 2 years old) don't have any symptoms.
Should we do corona testing of kids? Any medicine need to be given to them?
Please suggest
Thanks in advance

I suggest getting them tested as family members tested positive. The treatment is not needed unless they develop symptoms or changed if they come positive.
But I have seen in families adult getting serious, admitted and then relatives don't know whether children are positive and should they keep them in isolation and how to care for them.
Better get them tested so if unfortunately needed further arrangements can be done as needed.

No point in getting testing done at this moment. Wait, if at all they develop any symptoms then after couple of day you can get it done. Even if test comes positive they will be needing only symptomatic treatment. For prevention follow SMS I.e. social distancing , mask and sanitisation
Please do covid pcr test if they develop any symptoms. Otherwise, not required. But hand hygiene, social distancing and masking needs to be maintained.
Treatment will not be changing even if positive . It’s symptomatic but testing might help in isolating and further spread to normal people . But if u are going to follow isolation and masking then u may avoid testing
