My mother is found covid positive on 24-Nov-2020 and she is admitted in deen Dayal govt hospital varansi. She is feeling sever breathing problem and on oxygen support(type 1). Chest CT has been done and severity score is 16/25. Also, she is suger and arthritis patient and taking medication. My question is, 1. Do I need to consult any chest specialist seperately for her treatment or covid medicines are enough to treat the infection. 2. She is in trouble due to severe breathing issue, what shall I do to get her some relief.

Hi noted above history Covid is treated by chest physician only . Yes with such age and high CT scan scoring speak to your treatment physician and get all doubts cleared. Else open personal consult for proper evaluation and yams treatment
