Corn removal surgery

Asked for Male, 25 Years

I am little concerned about my recent surgery of my right heel for corn removal. As per doctor due to difficulties of stitches on heel part he kept my wound open and said it will heal and look like normal within a month but when i saw that wound at the time of dressing it was a big as one inch deep and in breadth could you let me know if it's possible to recover it within a month. As i am so worried about it.
