My daughter is 1.8 years, As per consultation & treatment from doctor we are giving Topamac 25 mg tablet twice a day since last year, Pl. tell consumption of this tablets for such an long period will affect my daughter kidney works & development of her immunity

Every drug has side effects,to be taken ONLY under medical supervision.
If it's febrile seizures,no long term treatment is given.
If afebrile seizures with a normal CT scan of head,THEN meds are indicated for atleast 3-5 years from last seizure.
