Contraceptive
Hello, I just got married and newly started with contraceptives. Doctor told me to take pills for 21 days, give gap of 7 days (where I am supposed to get periods) and start another strip of 21 pills on 8th day and cycle goes so on. If I don't get periods duaring gap of 7 days and I want to go for intercourse, then do I have to use protection like condom? Is there a risk of getting pregnant in case I have unprotected sex during gap of 7 days? Your answers will be a huge help. Thank you and take care

There is no 'safe period' as such, unless your periods are dot on time. So dont risk it if you are not ready for a baby yet.
