Continuous fever for 1 week
Hello doctor.my son has fever cold cough. for past 6 days.giving P250. But his fever increasing and decreasing 98 to 101.5 taken dengue and malaria test also result is negative only.now cough reduced.but still he has fever.feeling restless. He is often sleeping basically he is very active.but now he is always lying on bed always
What's the reason for this.really I worried lot.what should I do now

Most likely to be viral fever,which can last up-to 7 days.
Still,it's important to rule out typhoid fever,get him tested.
Otherwise,just give paracetamol for fever and repeat4 hourly if required.
