Continuous cough
I am 28 yrs and have persistent cough for almost an year. I consulted with Chest and Respiratory specialist. he did a PFT and told that i have some kind of allergy and has asked me to take medicines life long. Is it true and what kind of allergy do i exactly have or how do i identify it. I tried to stop medicines but after 2 days again cough starts and becomes normal once i take the next dosage. Kindly help

You have asthma and you sir take medicines regularly otherwise untreated ds. can lead to other complication...there can be one or more allergens( environmental or food) in your surrounding...you can identify them by looking at exposure and onset of symptoms. The other way is to go for an allergy testing.
