Contact lens for toric power
1. I have 5.50 sph in both eyes, and 0.75 cyl in one eye and no astigmatism in other eye. 2. I want to try contact lenes. 3. Can i use 5.50 sph ( eye glass power for contact lenses)  for both eyes and ignore toric power for my eye. Any other esteemed suggestion is welcome

Greetings! U have to use both spherical and cylindrical correction in the contact lens for RE and spherical only in LE(as it has no cylindrical power). Regards

As your right eye has a cylindrical power of 0.75, it is a bit difficult to adjust to that, you either end up having a suboptimal vision or eye strain. please go for toric contact lens if you can

You can use -5.50 spherical contact lenses.it is better to go for toric in Ry eye.pl consult ophthalmologist for further evaluation and treatment.

You can use -5.50 sph in both eyes. But you will have suboptimal vision in right eye. Also you will have eye strain. So, I would advise you to use toric contact lens in right eye.
